About the role

TCS is looking for an experienced Python Developer to join its technology teams across major Indian cities. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Python‑based applications that support large‑scale enterprise solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop end‑to‑end Python applications using popular frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Write and maintain Unix shell scripts to support deployment and automation tasks.
• Implement object‑oriented designs and work with ORM tools for database interaction.
• Participate in large‑scale enterprise implementation projects, ensuring code quality and performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative, technology‑driven solutions.

Required profile

• 6 + years of professional experience in Python application development.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one Python web framework (Django or Flask).
• Strong Unix shell scripting skills.
• Solid understanding of OOP concepts and familiarity with ORM technologies.
• Knowledge of Spark or Hadoop is a plus.
• Excellent coding, debugging, and analytical abilities.
• Creative mindset with a track record of delivering innovative solutions.
