Public Relations Executive – Remote

About the role

We’re looking for a PR Executive who already has a foundation in public relations and is ready to take on more responsibility. You’ll work directly on client mandates, build media relationships, and contribute ideas to campaigns across sectors. This role suits someone who wants faster learning, wider exposure, and real ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and send media pitches, press releases, and story angles to journalists across print, online, and broadcast.
• Follow up with journalists and build strong media relationships to secure quality coverage.
• Handle day‑to‑day client servicing, including regular updates, coverage tracking, and coordination on requirements.
• Build and maintain media databases across beats and regions.
• Coordinate press meets, launches, and media events, from invites to on‑ground support.
• Plan and manage influencer campaigns, including shortlisting, outreach, and tracking deliverables.
• Conduct competitor PR audits and research market and industry trends.
• Prepare coverage reports, PR plans, and client presentations.

Required profile

• 6 months to 1 year of experience at a PR agency, in‑house communications team, or media house (internships count if substantial).
• Graduate in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field preferred.
• Strong written and spoken English; knowledge of Hindi or other regional languages is a plus.
• Basic understanding of newsroom dynamics and what makes a story newsworthy.
• Organised, able to handle multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proactive, sincere, and confident in picking up the phone to pitch.
