Property Director

About the role

The Property Director will provide strategic and operational leadership for a prestigious, complex residential property portfolio. Reporting to the executive team, this senior role combines high‑level strategy with hands‑on operational credibility to drive performance, customer experience and long‑term asset value.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies that optimise property performance, operational resilience and service quality.
• Lead the Property Management, Facilities & Asset Management, Estate Standards and Procurement teams.
• Ensure consistent service delivery, statutory compliance and effective risk management across the estate.
• Oversee facilities and asset management activities to maintain safe, efficient and compliant buildings.
• Set, monitor and maintain estate standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Deliver best‑value procurement, manage supplier contracts and ensure strong commercial governance.
• Provide clear management information and performance reporting to support Board‑level decision‑making.

Required profile

• Significant senior leadership experience in property, asset and facilities management within complex or mixed‑use estates.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with a proven track record of delivering value.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of engaging at Board and executive level.
• Relevant professional qualifications or memberships such as RICS, IWFM, TPI, IRPM are desirable.
