Project Coordinator – Audio Engineering

About the role

The Project Coordinator works closely with the manager to execute audio‑related projects from recording through mastering. This position blends project‑management expertise with hands‑on audio engineering knowledge to ensure high‑quality, on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Execute day‑to‑day audio project plans, schedules and budgets while organizing stakeholder meetings and meeting deadlines.
• Oversee the full audio production lifecycle, including assignments, recording sessions, editing, mixing, and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to implement plans that are timely, budget‑friendly and meet quality standards.
• Gather audio analysis requirements from stakeholders and translate them into actionable tasks.
• Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring project accuracy and quality.
• Serve as the liaison between contributors and the payments team for any payment issues.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as Sourcing, Payments, IT and Operations to keep projects running smoothly.
• Maintain strong relationships with team members, contributors and independent contractors.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Pro Tools (or another DAW) for reviewing sessions and exports.
• Experience using Logic Pro and Ableton Live.
• Knowledge of audio production workflows, common formats, sample rates, bit depths and loudness targets.
