Principal Survey Data Analyst

About the role

The Principal Survey Data Analyst will lead data processing and analysis for hydrographic and subsea positioning projects. Working closely with offshore crews, GIS specialists and project managers, you will ensure high‑quality deliverables from field acquisition through final reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Process and quality‑check survey data for surface navigation, subsea navigation and photogrammetry.
• Support calibration of DGPS, vessel offsets, gyro, MRU, USBL, LBL and INS systems.
• Manage metrology for spool and jumper surveys using LBL and inertial techniques.
• Analyze multibeam echosounder data for as‑laid, as‑built, inspection and straightness surveys.
• Provide strategic insights to senior leadership and contribute to capability development.
• Ensure compliance with Oceaneering’s quality, HSE and competency programs.
