Pipe Plant Operator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced operator to run PVC extrusion machinery at our pipe plant. The role involves meeting production schedules while maintaining product quality and adhering to safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate PVC extrusion machinery according to production schedules and adjust settings such as temperature, pressure, and speed.
• Inspect finished products for quality and dimensional accuracy, performing regular sampling and testing.
• Carry out routine maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and part replacement, and quickly resolve mechanical or process issues.
• Follow safety guidelines, use PPE, and ensure lockout/tagout procedures are applied.
• Record production data, report defects and machine performance, and document any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with technical teams to improve efficiency and train contractual manpower.

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in PVC extrusion or similar industrial processes.
• ITI/Diploma in CIPET, Fitter, or Electrician.

Required skills

• Knowledge of PVC extrusion processes.
• Machine operation and adjustment expertise.
• Quality control and inspection techniques.
