People Business Partner – HR Business Partner (India)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic People Business Partner to join Cohere Health’s People Operations team in Hyderabad. The role partners with business leaders to shape HR strategy, drive organizational effectiveness and foster a high‑performance culture within the Indian context.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leaders on organizational design, workforce planning and talent management, translating business goals into HR initiatives.
• Manage employee relations, including grievances, disciplinary actions and conflict resolution while ensuring compliance with Indian labor laws.
• Support performance management processes such as goal‑setting, reviews and coaching, and identify high‑potential talent for succession planning.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and the US People Business Partnership team on hiring strategies, engagement surveys and learning programs.
• Ensure HR operations and compliance with statutes such as the Shops & Establishments Act and POSH, and contribute to policy development.
• Assist the Information Security Manager with ISMS activities, implementing security policies and maintaining competence in information security practices.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of HR experience, including 3–5 years as an HR Business Partner.
• Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance.
• Proven stakeholder management and business partnering abilities.
• Experience in performance management, employee relations and engagement initiatives.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Darwinbox or Rippling.
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem‑solving skills.
