Outbound / EXIM Executive – Import & Export Operations

About the role

This role is part of Philips Health Systems in Chakan, Pune, focusing on import and export operations for medical devices. The executive will manage end‑to‑end logistics, ensure timely material availability, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement import/export strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Create and manage shipping documents in SAP, coordinate with customs agents, and negotiate with freight forwarders.
• Handle break‑bulk, project cargo, and dangerous goods while maintaining compliance with import/export regulations.
• Ensure on‑time material availability from ports to the production line.
• Drive continuous‑improvement projects to enhance import and export processes.
• Maintain master data in SAP, process e‑way bills, and ensure correct HSN codes.
• Collaborate with planning, warehouse, customer service, and sales teams to support the order‑to‑cash flow.
• Monitor and enforce local, country, and international laws governing product movement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 3–6 years of experience in import and export operations, preferably in medical devices or healthcare.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills across functions and geographies.
• Customer‑focused mindset, proactive attitude, and ability to work effectively in teams.
• Fluent English, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Master Data Management (MDM) within SAP.
• Experience leading Kaizen or other continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required skills
