Operations Staff – Inbound/Outbound Shift

About the role

The Operations Staff supports day‑to‑day operational activities within Blue Dart’s service centres, hubs, processing units and warehouses, ensuring efficient shipment handling, processing and movement across the network. The role involves receiving, sorting, scanning, bagging, loading, unloading, data entry and strict adherence to safety and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, segregate, sort and process inbound and outbound shipments accurately, including scanning, bagging, tagging and labelling.
• Load and unload shipments from vehicles while following safe handling practices.
• Perform basic data entry and update shipment information using operational systems.
• Assist shift in‑charges in meeting daily operational targets and support peak‑volume periods.
• Follow all SOPs, safety, security and quality standards, reporting any incidents or discrepancies.
• Maintain personal grooming, wear the prescribed uniform and represent the Blue Dart brand professionally.

Required profile

• Minimum 10th standard pass; higher education is an advantage.
• Fresher or up to 2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing or similar environments.
• Physically fit, able to stand, walk, lift and move shipments throughout the shift.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Basic understanding of English for reading instructions and labels.
• Basic computer and handheld scanner/mobile application usage.
