MLOps Engineer – Entry Level

About the role

At Airbus, we are harnessing the power of artificial intelligence to enhance efficiency and quality across our value chain. Our team of technologists and business leaders is dedicated to innovation and excellence. We are looking for an entry‑level MLOps Engineer (0‑2 years experience) to join the Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence PSL and help build and scale our centralized ModelOps platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain high‑performance serverless microservices and RESTful APIs for model inference and platform operations.
• Develop and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitLab and Infrastructure‑as‑Code to automate testing and deployments.
• Deploy, monitor and manage the lifecycle of traditional Machine Learning and Generative AI models on native AWS AI/ML services, including observability for model drift and latency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or a related quantitative field.
• 0–2 years of hands‑on experience (or strong project work) in software engineering, DevOps, MLOps and cloud environments.

Required skills

• Python programming and FastAPI framework.
• Basic knowledge of Vue.js or similar JavaScript frameworks.
• Core AWS services: Lambda, S3, SageMaker, Bedrock, IAM, ECS, API Gateway.
• AWS CDK for infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Docker containerisation.
• Version control and CI/CD tools: GitHub, GitLab, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins.
• Relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases.
