MGF NCS Specialist

About the role

The MGF NCS Specialist supports Maersk’s National Customer Service LTL operations by handling customer communications and real‑time dispatch across phone, email and SMS. The role resolves routine last‑mile delivery issues, collaborating with customers, field teams and carrier partners to ensure timely and consistent deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound communications with customers, delivery teams, carrier partners and internal stakeholders via phone, email and SMS.
• Troubleshoot delivery exceptions, including availability issues, route challenges, address verification and revised delivery timeframes.
• Monitor assigned delivery routes in real time to support schedule adherence and on‑time performance.
• Provide real‑time route status updates and proactively communicate delays or risks to relevant parties.
• Escalate and coordinate resolution of route and delivery issues with field operations and carrier teams.
• Deliver intraday reports on route performance, delivery status and operational exceptions.
• Conduct follow‑ups with customers after exception resolution to confirm satisfaction.
• Support carrier compliance with operational standards and service expectations.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently within established guidelines and apply judgment to routine delivery issues.
• Strong focus on achieving customer service, dispatch and operational KPI targets.
• Effective communication and coordination across multiple stakeholders to ensure successful last‑mile delivery.
• Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including nights and weekends as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
