MBBS Resident Medical Officer (RMO) – ICU

About the role

The Multi‑Speciality Hospital in Chimbhale, Ahmednagar is seeking a qualified MBBS Resident Medical Officer (RMO) to join its Intensive Care Unit. This full‑time position involves direct patient care under the supervision of senior consultants, focusing on critically ill patients.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage ICU patients, conducting initial assessments and regular examinations.
• Track vital signs, investigations and treatment responses, and assist in stabilising emergency cases.
• Support consultants during ICU rounds, procedures and emergency interventions.
• Operate ventilators and other critical‑care equipment, identifying patient deterioration and escalating care promptly.
• Coordinate with intensivists, physicians, nursing staff and other departments to ensure timely investigations, medication and treatment.
• Maintain accurate ICU case sheets, progress notes, prescriptions and clinical documentation.
• Provide thorough shift handovers and adhere to infection‑control and patient‑safety protocols.

Required profile

• MBBS degree from a recognised medical college.
• Valid registration with NMC or Maharashtra Medical Council.
• Mandatory hands‑on ICU experience; critical‑care or emergency experience preferred.
• Professional, responsible and patient‑centric attitude.
