Manufacturing Line Operator – EV Motor Production

About the role

You will operate and monitor equipment used to produce electric‑vehicle traction motors, covering winding, forming, welding, impregnation, rotor assembly, final assembly and end‑of‑line testing. The role requires strict adherence to safety standards, quality procedures and daily production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all EHS rules, use PPE, perform LOTO and handle high‑voltage test equipment safely.
• Operate assigned stations – stator lamination, winding, laser welding, rotor assembly, motor final assembly, and end‑of‑line electrical and vibration testing.
• Perform visual, dimensional and functional inspections using gauges, calipers, micrometers and torque tools.
• Document production data in MES and maintain traceability.
• Conduct autonomous maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication and basic checks; report abnormalities.
• Meet daily output, cycle‑time and first‑pass‑yield targets while responding to Andon calls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or a related field.
• 1‑4 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read basic mechanical drawings, torque charts and work instructions.
• Experience operating production machinery and using precision measurement tools.

Required skills

• Production machinery operation (lamination, winding, welding, assembly, testing).
• Use of measurement tools – gauges, calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches.
• Basic equipment maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, simple checks).
• MES/production sheet documentation.
• Safety procedures for PPE, LOTO and high‑voltage equipment.
