About the role

The Manager – Controls Testing leads independent assessments of technology controls across the Group, ensuring testing is risk‑based, consistent, and aligned with enterprise standards and regulatory expectations. Based in Bangalore, the role operates in a hybrid work model and collaborates with global risk and control stakeholders to strengthen the control environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Control Testers to deliver high‑quality, independent control testing and assurance outcomes.
• Oversee assessment and reporting of control testing results, ensuring findings are accurate, evidence‑based, and defensible.
• Review Control Owner Self‑Assessments and evaluate the reliability and effectiveness of reported outcomes.
• Ensure consistent application of testing methodologies, standards, and quality requirements across the testing portfolio.
• Coordinate testing activities across global teams, meeting agreed schedules and priorities.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships to support effective control assessments and sustainable risk management practices.
• Identify improvement opportunities in the control environment and recommend practical solutions.
• Present risk and control insights clearly to support decision‑making and governance discussions.

Required profile

• 10+ years of industry experience with proven experience leading control testing functions.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Deep understanding of technology risk, control frameworks, and regulatory expectations.
• Excellent analytical and data‑driven insight generation.
• Ability to communicate complex risk information to senior stakeholders.
