Maintenance Technician – TPM & Reliability Focus

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will support the Engineering and Technology Department by improving machine uptime, reliability and speed through the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles. The role focuses on preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance to ensure optimal performance of plant equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, execute and monitor preventive maintenance programs across all machinery, utilities and assets.
• Conduct breakdown analysis, track downtime components and develop strategies to reduce correction time.
• Perform predictive testing, inspections and condition‑based maintenance, and verify post‑maintenance performance.
• Manage machine lifecycle data, trend analysis and FMEA activities.
• Coordinate shift and workload management for engineers and technicians, including inventory and cost control.
• Identify, forecast and procure spare parts, manage vendor relationships and oversee AMC follow‑up.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, KPI dashboards and provide daily/weekly reports to management.
• Implement TQM, 5S and safety initiatives, handling OEM safety and quality queries.

Required profile

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in plant maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities, able to work under production pressure.
• Experience guiding technicians and driving continuous improvement.
