Logistics Specialist – Fleet, Inbound, International & Outbound

About the role

The Logistics Specialist will support TCS’s supply chain operations across fleet management, inbound and outbound transportation, and international trade compliance. The role is based in Bengaluru and operates on a rotational 24/7 schedule, including night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Track fleet utilization, schedule vehicle maintenance, monitor fuel consumption and validate fuel transactions.
• Coordinate driver licensing, vehicle registration, and regulatory compliance reporting.
• Plan and schedule inbound transportation, manage carrier appointments, and monitor shipment visibility.
• Handle inbound shipment exceptions, SLA monitoring, and stakeholder communication.
• Prepare import documentation, ensure customs compliance, and coordinate with freight forwarders and brokers.
• Manage outbound load building, carrier selection, shipment scheduling, and cost control.
• Monitor outbound shipment tracking, manage exceptions, and resolve carrier issues.
• Generate KPI reports, perform fleet and logistics data analysis, and document processes.

Required profile

• 3 to 8 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
• Minimum 15 years of regular full‑time education (10+2+3).
• Willingness to work rotational 24/7 shifts, including nights.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Experience using Oracle TMS.
• Familiarity with Blue Yonder / JDA.
• Knowledge of SupplierHub.
