Java Microservices Developer – Bangalore

About the role

Capco is looking for an experienced Java Microservices Developer to join its Bangalore delivery centre. You will work on high‑impact projects for banking and financial services clients, designing and implementing cloud‑native solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business and functional requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Develop and maintain Java‑based micro‑services using Spring Boot, REST and SOAP APIs.
• Integrate streaming data with Kafka and ensure reliable messaging.
• Design, deploy and manage containerised applications on Kubernetes (and Docker).
• Collaborate with global stakeholders, report risks and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 7+ years of backend development experience with Java and micro‑services.
• Hands‑on experience with Kafka and at least one cloud platform (GCP, AWS or Azure).
• Proficiency in container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with test‑driven development (TDD) and behavior‑driven development (BDD).
