IT Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing and end-to-end procurement of hardware, software, cloud services, SaaS applications, cybersecurity solutions and telecommunications for Paytm in Noida. The role involves managing the full procurement lifecycle, negotiating contracts and driving cost optimisation while ensuring compliance and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement of IT hardware, software, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), SaaS, cybersecurity and telecom services, from requirement gathering to contract award.
• Develop and execute category sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, SLAs, licensing models and manage contract renewals in collaboration with Legal, Finance and Information Security.
• Maintain strategic relationships with OEMs, distributors, system integrators and cloud providers, conducting performance reviews and governance meetings.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal, Risk and business teams to understand requirements and provide timely sourcing support.

Required profile

• 5-7 years of proven experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing and category management.
• Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills with a focus on total cost of ownership.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and managing supplier performance.
• Familiarity with European procurement and regulatory requirements is a plus.
