International Assignment Consultant – Expatriate Management

About the role

The International Assignment Consultant will lead the inbound expatriate lifecycle for the APAC region, ensuring seamless assignment initiation, remuneration, compliance and payroll coordination for assignees.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound expatriate lifecycle for APAC, including assignment initiation, remuneration, compliance and payroll coordination.
• Coordinate with base‑location HR, payroll teams, immigration and tax vendors, and local authorities to ensure smooth assignments.
• Handle assignment setup tasks such as contract preparation, remuneration calculation, training support and sequential assignment handling.
• Oversee visa and work‑permit processes, document verification, translation and registration in the host country.
• Provide relocation services, global insurance enrollment, and support for bank‑account opening in the host country.
• Administer expense reimbursement, salary review, bonus calculation, allowance payments and work‑permit extensions.
• Conduct monthly activities for assignees, including input of school invoices, social‑security values, overtime and logistics allowances.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of end‑to‑end inbound expatriate lifecycle management experience.
