Housekeeping Executive

About the role

The Housekeeping Executive ensures that guest rooms, public areas and facilities meet Marriott’s high quality standards. Working closely with housekeeping, engineering, front office and laundry teams, this role coordinates daily operations and supports management in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas and pool after cleaning to verify quality standards.
• Run sold‑room reports, verify room status, prioritize cleaning and update departing room statuses.
• Act as liaison among Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry to resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare, distribute and communicate changes in room assignments and shift handovers.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, counseling and employee motivation.
• Follow all company safety, security and operational policies; report maintenance issues and safety hazards.
• Maintain professional appearance, protect company assets and uphold confidentiality.
• Provide courteous guest service, assist guests with disabilities and address service needs promptly.
• Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting and operating housekeeping equipment safely.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of related housekeeping experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a hospitality environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours and perform physical duties as described.
