Guest Service Associate – Housekeeping

About the role

As a Guest Service Associate – Housekeeping you will ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean, well‑stocked and ready for arrival. You will work closely with the front‑desk and other hotel departments to respond promptly to guest requests and maintain high standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest and department requests, delivering supplies and amenities.
• Enter guest rooms following security procedures, verify vacancy, replace amenities, linens and towels.
• Make beds, fold towels, clean bathrooms, remove trash and soiled linen, and restock room supplies.
• Inspect and ensure all room appliances are present and functioning.
• Dust, polish, remove marks from walls and furnishings, straighten furniture, and vacuum carpets in rooms and hallways.
• Perform floor‑care duties, push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart on uneven surfaces.
• Follow all company safety, security and confidentiality policies, reporting any hazards or maintenance issues.
• Maintain a clean, professional uniform and appearance while providing courteous service to all guests, including those with disabilities.

Required profile

• No high school diploma or GED required; no prior housekeeping experience necessary.
• Ability to lift, carry or move objects up to 25 lb unaided and heavier items with assistance.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, twist and reach overhead for an entire shift.
• Clear, professional communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
