Gold Loan Officer – Full Time

About the role

The Gold Loan Officer is responsible for driving the growth of gold loan disbursements within the assigned branch. Acting as the primary point of contact, you will pitch the product, collect documentation, and ensure smooth processing and collection of loans.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed targets for the number and value of gold loans, both daily and monthly.
• Generate leads through outbound promotional activities, calls and visits to eligible customers.
• Coordinate with branch teams, DSAs, BC points and external partners to gather required documents and facilitate loan approvals.
• Manage field‑level customer queries, ensure timely collections for 0‑90 day delinquent accounts, and provide back‑up support for Asset Desk Officers.
• Maintain compliance with lending guidelines, quality frameworks and audit requirements, and identify potential default risks.

Required profile

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline.
• 0–2 years of experience, preferably in asset‑based products such as gold loans.
• Ability to communicate fluently in regional language(s) and English.
• Good verbal fluency, clear and purposeful language, and strong customer‑relation skills.
