General Manager – Telco Sales for Africa & LATAM

About the role

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Account Managers to join our dynamic team and drive sales and revenue growth within key Telco accounts across Africa. These roles will be pivotal in building and maintaining strong client relationships, expanding our product portfolio, and achieving ambitious sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned multinational Telco accounts and develop long‑lasting client relationships.
• Achieve and exceed annual, quarterly and monthly sales targets by identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts.
• Cross‑sell and up‑sell One97’s VAS and Core Telco solutions, preparing compelling proposals and presentations.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans, monitor market trends and competitor activity.
• Execute campaigns, track performance against KPIs and provide regular analysis to management.
• Manage account collections, ensure timely recovery of payments and maintain accurate sales records.
• Travel extensively across assigned African territories to meet clients and drive revenue.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate sales within the telecommunications industry, specifically VAS and Core Telco products.
• Strong account‑management and key‑account management capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Excellent business‑development, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to travel extensively and manage financial aspects of accounts.
