Front End Developer with Accessibility Focus for Visualization Tools

About the role

Tuva is a leading data‑literacy company serving K‑12 schools worldwide. The Front End Developer will focus on building highly interactive, accessible visualization tools that help teachers and students explore data. You will work with designers, back‑end engineers and product teams to deliver React components that meet WCAG standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain accessible data visualizations using Raphael JS, SVG and React components.
• Write clean, semantic HTML, CSS and JavaScript that follows accessibility best practices.
• Implement automated and manual accessibility testing (Axe, Wave, Lighthouse) and fix identified issues.
• Collaborate with designers and UX experts to ensure visual appeal and usability.
• Document accessibility guidelines and maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation.
• Stay current with evolving accessibility standards and continuously improve the tools.

Required profile

• 3+ years of front‑end development experience, preferably with data‑visualization projects.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
