Financial Regulatory Lawyer – Associate/Senior Associate

About the role

We are seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join our Financial Regulatory Practice in Mumbai. The lawyer will provide customized advice on financial services regulation, compliance advisory, enforcement and dispute matters for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on regulations issued by SEBI, RBI, IRDA and PFRDA, including licensing and compliance requirements.
• Handle enforcement actions and regulatory litigation, as well as governance and restructuring matters.
• Support the full life‑cycle of financial services entities, from establishment to exit strategies.
• Collaborate with regulatory and enforcement lawyers in other jurisdictions on cross‑border matters.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
• 3–6 years of post‑qualification experience in financial services regulation, compliance advisory, enforcement or disputes.
• Demonstrated expertise in SEBI, RBI, IRDA and PFRDA regulatory frameworks.
• Commitment to high professional integrity, respect and teamwork.
• Willingness to comply with the firm’s information‑security policies.
