Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist

About the role

The Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist will bridge strategic financial planning and operational execution within Accenture’s business unit. Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, the role drives complex planning, forecasting and performance management while mentoring senior and junior analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Support medium‑to‑long‑term financial planning, scenario analysis and risk assessment aligned with Group FP&A governance.
• Coordinate budget preparation and forecasting cycles, consolidate inputs, deliver variance analysis and actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
• Conduct complex financial analysis, modelling and investment appraisals to inform business cases, pricing decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Drive performance management by setting targets, tracking KPIs and analysing revenue, cost, margin and working‑capital drivers.
• Support Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes, ensuring financial alignment with operational plans.
• Mentor senior and junior finance analysts, foster a collaborative high‑performance culture and promote adoption of FP&A tools and best practices.

Required profile

• Graduate or Post‑Graduate degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting; CA/ICWA/CPA preferred.
• 7‑11 years of finance experience, preferably in manufacturing, consumer‑packaged goods, retail or wholesale sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical problem‑solving abilities and experience in product costing and pricing.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel) and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Experience using CFIN and Power BI (expert level is a plus).
• Advanced financial and scenario modelling, predictive analytics and data analysis.
• Product costing and pricing expertise.
