Finance Controller

About the role

The Finance Controller will oversee and manage the company’s financial operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strategic support for business decisions. This full‑time, on‑site role is based in Navi Mumbai and requires close collaboration with cross‑functional teams and leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day accounting activities and ensure proper journal entries.
• Close monthly and annual books on schedule and prepare financial statements.
• Produce and review accurate financial reports in line with applicable standards.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Provide financial insights to improve profitability, cost control and cash‑flow management.
• Monitor and strengthen internal controls and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, corporate policies and reporting requirements.
• Optimize finance processes and systems, including ERP enhancements.

Required profile

• Strong accounting and finance knowledge with a solid grasp of core financial principles.
• Proven experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports according to standards.
• Advanced analytical ability to interpret data, perform variance analysis and support decision‑making.
• Proficiency with ERP or accounting software and expertise in financial planning, budgeting and cost control.
• Professional qualifications such as CA, CMA or an MBA in Finance; manufacturing or industrial sector experience is a plus.
