Field Sales Executive

About the role

The Field Sales Executive will work on‑site in Surat, representing IndiaMART’s B2B marketplace to prospective and existing business customers. This full‑time position focuses on driving new supplier registrations, subscription sales and building strong client relationships across the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Visit prospective and existing business customers in Surat and surrounding areas to present IndiaMART’s solutions.
• Identify potential clients, schedule and conduct meetings, demonstrate platform benefits and negotiate commercial terms.
• Drive new supplier registrations and subscription sales while maintaining strong relationships.
• Gather market insights, update sales reports and maintain accurate data in CRM tools.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven field sales or business development experience, preferably in B2B or digital services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and local languages relevant to Surat.
• Self‑motivated, target‑oriented and able to work independently in a field‑based environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel within Surat and nearby regions for client visits.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools and mobile applications for reporting and follow‑ups.
• Ability to conduct market research and analyse local business trends.
