Field Inspector

About the role

The Field Inspector conducts pre‑shipment inspections of goods destined for export, ensuring compliance with Bureau Veritas procedures and international regulations. The role also involves preparing detailed inspection reports and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out pre‑shipment inspections on export goods according to organization rules and procedures.
• Prepare inspection reports, time sheets and other documentation required for processing.
• Monitor and support other Field Inspectors.
• Maintain internal and external communication and attend related meetings.
• Communicate commercial information and train new inspectors and subcontractors.
• Stay updated with procedures, national and international regulations and publications related to inspections.
• Manage and administer samples.
• Respect security guidelines and safeguard personal security in the working environment.
• Ensure implementation of the Quality Management System and corporate standards.

Required profile

• Compliance with BV Cardinal Safety Rules and company HSE policies.
• Prompt reporting of any HSE incidents, unsafe practices or conditions to line managers.
• Proactive sharing of improvement opportunities on HSE aspects.
