Executive – Purchase (PwD)

About the role

We are looking for an Executive – Purchase (PwD) to manage the end‑to‑end procurement process for packing materials, coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders, and ensure compliance with the company’s quality and purchasing standards.

Key responsibilities

• Convert purchase requisitions (PR) to purchase orders (PO) and release manual POs from the releasing authority (ZPR50).
• Obtain vendor commitments for on‑time delivery and escalate any deviations.
• Maintain price change (PIR) and purchase‑related master data in the PM Ordering System according to quality system guidelines.
• Ensure vendor portal compliance and coordinate with IT for any issues.
• Support the Manager‑Purchase with quarterly packing‑material costing, base‑file updates and MIS preparation.
• Monitor consumption plans, maintain predetermined inventory levels and proactively raise issues.
• Handle quality rejections and CAPA closures in SAP as directed.
• Generate monthly vendor performance reports and ensure their accuracy.
• Coordinate with suppliers, shared services, finance and logistics on payments, waybills and detention matters.
• Raise debit/credit notes for quality rejections and participate in assigned projects.

Required profile

• Graduate (any discipline) with 6 months to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and basic commercial knowledge.
• Previous exposure to purchase activities and SAP/ERP preferred.
