Executive – Branch Operations (Express Logistics)

About the role

The Executive – Branch Operations will oversee day‑to‑day logistics activities across multiple locations, ensuring efficient loading, unloading, routing and documentation for express shipments. This role combines hands‑on operational work with route planning and customer service to meet strict delivery windows and productivity targets.

Key responsibilities

• Perform physical loading and unloading of trucks and containers, and sort documents and parcels for optimal delivery flow.
• Plan and re‑prioritise routes, balancing stops with the pickup coordinator to meet customer time‑windows.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete inspection reports.
• Ensure compliance with state and local warehousing, material‑handling and shipping regulations.
• Accurately complete and audit delivery records, pick‑up manifests, AWBs, customs paperwork and commercial invoices.
• Scan, record and transfer data using defined tools for performance tracking and compliance.
• Maintain vehicle and package security by following safety and security procedures.
• Handle customer queries, resolve issues or escalate to the appropriate department.
• Identify revenue‑generation and automation opportunities to improve customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular inventory counts, reconcile with system data and ensure stock accuracy.
• Manage personal time effectively to achieve all KPIs and support team objectives.

Required profile

• Graduate or post‑graduate degree.
• 5–8 years of experience managing warehouse or logistics operations.
• Proven ability in supervision, budgeting, safety management, process development and inventory control.
• Strong analytical, reporting and judgment skills.
• Team‑player attitude with a proactive mindset.
