Engineer - Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to lead and execute maintenance activities in a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency of plant equipment while supporting production operations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure personal safety and compliance with plant safety standards, PPE, LOTO and work‑permit procedures.
• Create, plan, schedule, execute and close maintenance work orders in a CMMS (SAP Maintenance Module).
• Maintain logs, SOPs, inspection reports and checklists according to ADM standards.
• Lead and motivate a mixed skilled workforce, optimizing manpower utilization.
• Diagnose and resolve operational and reliability issues, perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support production with routine maintenance and assist projects in commissioning new equipment.
• Drive cost‑conscious measures to reduce man‑hours, maintenance cost and energy consumption.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2‑3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in edible‑oil, FMCG or process manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, bearings, seals and lubrication systems.
• Excellent communication, documentation and independent problem‑solving skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts and respond to emergency maintenance.
