About the role
We are looking for an Embedded Test Engineer to design, execute and automate test plans for Bosch’s embedded products in Bangalore. The role involves both manual and automated testing, debugging, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure product quality.
Key responsibilities
- Create test plans, specifications and execute manual and automated tests.
- Debug issues, identify root causes and propose suitable solutions.
- Interact with stakeholders to derive solutions and refine requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve test efficiency and automation.
- Apply good testing knowledge across all stages of SDLC and STLC.
Required profile
- B.E/B.Tech in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- 3‑6 years of experience in product quality testing of embedded systems.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving and proactive attitude.
- Experience working with international teams and using JIRA.
- ISTQB Advanced certification.
Required skills
- Python programming.
- Robot Framework for test automation.
- JIRA for issue tracking.
- ISTQB Advanced level testing methodology.
