Embedded Software Engineer (Driver Development)

About the role

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join Bosch’s technology powerhouse in Bangalore. You will work closely with customers in Germany to translate requirements into robust embedded solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with German customers to gather and clarify software requirements.
• Define technical specifications and work packages in collaboration with partners.
• Design and develop software architecture for embedded platforms.
• Implement drivers and perform board bring‑up activities.
• Validate software through unit, integration and system testing.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of professional experience in embedded software development.
• Hands‑on experience with driver development on hardware interfaces such as SPI, I²C, DMA, ADC and UART.
• Board bring‑up and platform development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Embedded C and C++ (including design patterns and templates).
• Experience with STM32, GigaDevice, TI or TLE microcontrollers.
• Proficiency in UML for software architecture.
• Familiarity with agile development processes and mentoring junior team members.
