Director, International Tax

About the role

The Director, International Tax will lead Vinmar's international tax function and serve as a primary advisor on international tax matters affecting the Company's global operations. The role is responsible for international tax planning, transfer pricing, global tax compliance oversight, tax risk management, and tax governance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee international tax activities across the Group’s global operations, developing and implementing the global tax strategy and governance framework.
• Direct international tax planning, transfer pricing policy design, and corporate income tax compliance for multiple jurisdictions.
• Advise senior management on tax implications of cross‑border transactions, M&A, financing arrangements and legal entity structures.
• Manage indirect tax matters such as VAT, GST, sales and use tax, and customs across relevant jurisdictions.
• Establish tax risk management, internal controls and lead tax audits, disputes and controversy resolution.
• Build and coach a high‑performing in‑house tax team and drive process automation and standardisation.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification, with additional specialization in international taxation or transfer pricing preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive tax experience in a multinational organization or professional services firm, including leadership of global tax functions.
• Demonstrated expertise in international tax, transfer pricing, OECD/BEPS, Pillar Two, indirect tax and tax risk management.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to translate complex tax issues into clear recommendations for senior leaders.

Required skills

• Experience applying artificial intelligence (AI) tools to enhance tax research, compliance, reporting or process automation.
