Data Analyst – Data Modelling, SQL & Power BI

About the role

We are looking for a Data Analyst with strong expertise in data modelling, SQL and Power BI to join Bosch Global Software Technologies in Bangalore. You will work on building and optimizing data pipelines, creating analytical dashboards and ensuring data quality across our enterprise platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Build and optimise ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation and integration across multiple sources.
• Perform end‑to‑end data modelling, including extraction, cleansing, validation and quality assurance.
• Develop, validate and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Design and optimise SQL, T‑SQL, SSIS and related ETL processes.
• Analyse large, complex datasets to generate insights and actionable business outcomes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable analytics solutions.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, governance and reliability across analytics platforms.
• Maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries and process documentation.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering or BI development.
• Graduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related discipline.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands‑on experience with SSIS and exposure to SSAS for data‑warehousing solutions.

Required skills

• Expert‑level SQL and T‑SQL (stored procedures, functions, views, CTEs, triggers).
• Power BI development including DAX, Row‑Level Security, Gateway and workspace administration.
• SSIS, SSAS, SQL Server and Oracle database environments.
• Exposure to Azure, MS Fabric, GitHub, Bitbucket and CI/CD version‑control practices.
• Python (optional), Databricks, Alteryx or KNIME (advantageous).
