Customer Order Management Specialist – Automotive

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and customer‑focused Customer Order Management Specialist to join our Supply Chain team. In this role you will ensure excellent order execution, maintain strong customer relationships and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end customer order process, from accurate entry to confirmation and fulfillment.
• Ensure On‑Time‑In‑Full (OTIF) delivery performance and resolve order‑related issues.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on order and delivery inquiries.
• Coordinate with Sales, Manufacturing, Logistics, Warehousing and external service providers for seamless execution.
• Maintain accurate customer, order and scheduling data in SAP and handle EDI transactions.
• Track, analyse and report operational KPIs while driving process improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum technical or commercial education (Degree in Engineering, Technology, Sales or Marketing).
• Strong customer orientation and communication skills.
• Good analytical abilities and knowledge of common SCM tools.
• 2‑3 years experience in customer service, help‑desk or order management (preferred).

Required skills

• SAP – order entry, scheduling and data maintenance.
• EDI – inbound messages, ASN transmissions and onboarding of new connections.
