Cost Control Manager

About the role

The Cost Control Manager will align the company’s strategic goals with financial performance through rigorous analysis of key performance indicators. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, consolidates reports for the group, and drives resource efficiency and profitability while standardising internal control frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Financial performance and analysis (40%): lead planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and variance analysis; develop and monitor KPIs; automate reporting tools; prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements.
• Cost controlling (30%): monitor and analyse costs against budget, identify variances, devise cost‑control strategies, prepare cost reports and recommendations, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimise expenditures.
• Internal control (20%): ensure compliance with ICFR, maintain robust reporting controls and system integrity, align commercial reporting standards, and support quarterly forecasts and budget preparation.
• Other duties (10%): assist the finance team with audit, compliance, and insurance coverage coordination for assets and employees.

Required profile

• Education: Qualified or semi‑qualified CA or CMA with a Bachelor’s degree or a relevant discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years for qualified CA/CMA or 5 years for semi‑qualified candidates, with demonstrated expertise in financial analysis and cost control.
