Contract Specialist

About the role

The Contract Specialist will support the Government Bids Department in securing and managing federal, state and local contracts for the signage industry. Based in Hyderabad, the role involves reviewing solicitations, preparing compliant bids, negotiating terms and overseeing contracts throughout their lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Review RFPs, IFBs and RFQs, summarizing requirements, risks and deadlines.
• Prepare complete bid packages including forms, certifications, pricing, narratives and attachments.
• Coordinate inputs from sales, estimating, engineering, production and installation teams.
• Maintain registrations on government procurement portals such as SAM.gov and state/local systems.
• Analyze contract terms, identify risks and work with legal/management on redlines and exceptions.
• Ensure executed contracts reflect agreed scope, pricing, schedule and commercial terms.
• Maintain organized contract records, track milestones, deliverables and reporting obligations.
• Support compliance with FAR/DFARS, Buy American, prevailing wage and DBE/MBE/WBE requirements.
• Assist in pricing verification, change order preparation and tracking.
• Contribute to templates, checklists and SOPs for the Government Bids Department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Contracts/Acquisition, Supply Chain or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–3+ years of experience in contracts, government procurement or a similar role.
• Hands‑on experience with U.S. government bids and contracts; background in signage, construction or fabrication is a plus.
• Familiarity with RFP/IFB/RFQ processes and basic contract types (FFP, T&M).
• Understanding of FAR/DFARS and public procurement rules.
