Cloud DevOps Engineer – Data Pipelines (SME)

About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to own and enhance its data pipeline platform. You will work in a cloud‑native environment, ensuring high availability, performance, and cost efficiency for critical analytics workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain stability, scalability, and performance of batch data pipelines in the cloud.
• Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline operations, handling incidents and root‑cause analysis.
• Optimize Databricks workloads to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Analyze and fine‑tune cloud infrastructure for better cost optimization.
• Improve operational processes, including incident handling, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps.
• Proactive problem‑solver with strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• High ownership mindset and drive for operational excellence.

Required skills

• Databricks and Lakehouse architecture.
• Batch accounts, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitHub, IAM.
• CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Command‑line scripting (PowerShell).
• Azure Data Factory or similar data pipeline orchestration tools.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
