Case Manager, MSK

About the role

Amazon’s Disability & Leave Services team is seeking a Contract Case Manager to support employees worldwide through leave of absence, disability, and accommodation events. In this individual contributor role you will be the single point of contact for employees, guiding them through the entire leave journey and ensuring a smooth return to work.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and respond to employee inquiries regarding leave, disability, benefits, and options.
• Review medical documentation and adjudicate leaves in compliance with Amazon policies, federal and state regulations.
• Develop and adjust case management plans based on changing employee needs.
• Troubleshoot issues, remove barriers, and communicate updates to employees and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with third‑party administrators, HR, Legal, Payroll, Safety, and Benefits teams.
• Facilitate return‑to‑work and ramp‑back plans, and educate managers on employee concerns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in HR or related fields.
• Strong understanding of leave policies, federal/state regulations, and benefit plans.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
