C++ Developer

About the role

AlphaGrep Securities is seeking a C++ Developer to join its technology team. You will work closely with the Quantitative Research group to design, develop, test and deploy high‑performance software that powers the firm’s automated trading systems. The position offers the chance to tackle challenging problems at the intersection of software engineering, mathematics and quantitative finance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy elegant, high‑performance software solutions for automated trading systems.
• Partner closely with the Quantitative Research team to understand requirements, define priorities and deliver customized solutions.
• Build robust, scalable, and reliable systems for live trading environments.
• Solve complex technical and quantitative problems across the trading lifecycle.
• Continuously improve the performance, scalability and reliability of proprietary trading systems.

Required profile

• Deep passion for technology, software development and mathematics.
• Exceptional quantitative, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
