Branch Trainer – Life Insurance Training Specialist

About the role

This is a full-time, on-site Branch Trainer role based in Ludhiana. The Branch Trainer will design and deliver training programs for branch staff on life insurance products, sales processes, customer service, and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct classroom and on‑the‑job training sessions for branch employees.
• Create and update training materials, modules, and learning aids.
• Assess employee performance and identify skill gaps on a regular basis.
• Coordinate with branch leadership to align training initiatives with business goals.
• Track training effectiveness using metrics and feedback, and implement improvement plans.
• Support new employee onboarding and deliver refresher training as needed.
• Lead ongoing capability‑building initiatives to boost branch productivity and customer experience.

Required profile

• Strong training and facilitation abilities, with experience designing and evaluating classroom and on‑the‑job programs.
• Knowledge of life insurance products, sales processes and basic insurance regulations, preferably in the Indian market.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse branch teams.
• Organizational and time‑management skills to plan schedules, manage multiple training batches and keep accurate records.
• Comfort using digital tools and learning platforms for content creation and performance tracking.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; specialization in Commerce, Business, Finance or Insurance is an advantage.
• Prior experience in training, sales coaching or branch operations within financial services or insurance.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Ludhiana and travel locally for branch training needs.
