BIM Technician - Electrical

About the role

We are looking for a BIM Technician specialised in electrical systems to join our design team. The role involves creating and coordinating 3D BIM models for MEP projects and supporting both design and bid activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare coordinated MEP 3D BIM models and conduct clash detection and resolution.
• Create parametric BIM families for electrical components.
• Provide specialist support to design teams for analysis and model preparation.
• Develop 3D and 4D visualisations for design and bid presentations.
• Extract quantities from BIM models for Bill of Quantities.

Required profile

• Good English communication skills and ability to work with senior colleagues.
• Valid passport and willingness to be seconded up to three months to the UK.
• Strong knowledge of Windows environment and standard office applications.
• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) together with draughting qualifications.
• At least five years of production experience in design, drafting and engineering.
