About the role
As a Senior Software Engineer (Backend), you will work with senior technology leaders to develop high‑quality software that aligns with Paytm’s business strategy and meets user demand.
Required profile
- 2 to 5 years of server‑side application development experience with Golang.
- Deeply technical with a track record of successful delivery.
- Entrepreneurial spirit combined with strong program and product management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong judgment, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
- Proven design and architecture expertise.
- Data‑driven decision making.
Required skills
- Language: Java, Node.js, Golang.
- Database: Relational DBMS.
- Messaging: Kafka, RabbitMQ.
- Caching: Redis, Aerospike.
- Microservices architecture.
- Cloud platform: AWS.
- Experience in scaling, performance tuning and optimization at API and storage layers.
