Associate Relationship Manager – Joint Liability Groups

About the role

The Associate Relationship Manager – Joint Liability Groups (JLG) supports the Relationship Manager in deepening banking relationships with customers in rural and semi‑urban areas. You will help create, disburse, and collect loans for Joint Liability Groups while driving new client acquisition and delivering high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Map household needs in assigned villages and manage zoning activities.
• Conduct end‑user checks after loan disbursal and meet monthly/annual group loan booking targets.
• Identify client needs, cross‑sell banking products, and generate new revenue streams.
• Support lead generation, account opening, and achievement of individual and branch sales goals.
• Maintain high collection efficiency through disciplined follow‑up.
• Ensure accurate loan and savings documentation and coordinate data entry with operations.
• Perform field audits, customer verifications, and monitor compliance with bank policies.
• Gather market intelligence, benchmark against competitors, and suggest process improvements.
• Assist with livelihood advancement and community development initiatives.

Required profile

• Graduate degree.
• 0–2 years of relevant branch banking experience.
• Strong understanding of rural banking, group lending, and customer relationship management.
• Ability to work independently, meet targets, and maintain compliance.
