Associate Relationship Manager - JLG

About the role

The Associate Relationship Manager – JLG will support the bank’s efforts to deepen relationships with existing customers and acquire new ones through Joint Liability Groups (JLGs). Working closely with the Relationship Manager, you will help create, disburse, and collect loans for JLGs while delivering best‑in‑class service.

Key responsibilities

• Map household needs in assigned villages, conduct zoning activities and identify prospective JLG members.
• Assist in forming JLGs, oversee loan disbursement, perform post‑disbursement end‑user checks, and ensure timely collections.
• Generate new revenue by cross‑selling banking products based on client risk profiles and lifestyle.
• Achieve individual and branch sales targets through new business acquisition, referrals, and account retention.
• Maintain accurate loan and savings documentation, coordinate data entry with operations staff, and ensure compliance with bank policies.
• Conduct field audits and customer verifications to uphold account quality.
• Gather market intelligence, benchmark against competitors, and propose process improvements.
• Support livelihood and community development initiatives within the branch network.

Required profile

• Graduate degree.
• 0–2 years of relevant branch banking experience.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to assess client needs.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Commitment to high collection efficiency and compliance standards.
