Associate NFR Records

About the role

As an Associate in the Technology, Data, Information Security Risk Centre of Excellence at ANZ, you will drive the elicitation, documentation and management of business and data requirements for the Non‑Financial Risk (NFR) Records remediation programme. Working from Bengaluru, you will collaborate with risk, finance, technology and business stakeholders to translate business needs into clear, traceable data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead structured requirements‑elicitation activities across business and data domains, including workshops, interviews and document analysis.
• Produce and maintain high‑quality artefacts such as business requirement documents, user stories and data definitions, ensuring traceability to business outcomes.
• Translate business needs into detailed data requirements covering sourcing, transformation logic, attributes and reporting outputs.
• Partner with risk, finance, technology and business teams to validate requirements, define scope and support solution design.
• Perform data analysis to assess source systems, data quality and gaps, and assist in defining future‑state processes.
• Support testing activities by defining test scenarios, validating outputs and confirming that requirements are met.
• Maintain requirements traceability throughout delivery phases and provide governance, reporting and stakeholder updates.

Required profile

• Experience in gathering and documenting business and data requirements, preferably within a risk or finance context.
• Strong analytical abilities to assess data sources, quality and gaps.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Business analysis techniques (e.g., workshops, interviews, BRDs, user stories).
• Data analysis and documentation.
