Assistant Manager – Outbound Logistics

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to lead outbound logistics operations for Bosch Rexroth India in Sanand. The role ensures timely dispatches, high customer satisfaction, and efficient transportation while maintaining inventory accuracy and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end outbound logistics, including dispatch planning and execution.
• Oversee transportation management, carrier selection, and freight cost optimization.
• Control inventory and warehouse processes to ensure accuracy and productivity.
• Handle customer service issues and complaint resolution.
• Maintain SAP/EWM and WMS systems, ensuring data integrity and process compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and cost‑reduction projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Logistics or Supply Chain; MBA/PGDM preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in outbound logistics, preferably in automotive or industrial manufacturing.
• Proven team leadership and stakeholder management abilities.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of outbound logistics and supply chain operations.
• Expertise in SAP modules (SD/MM/WM/EWM) and Warehouse Management Systems.
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
