About the role
Porter is seeking an Assistant Manager to drive people initiatives across the organisation. Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, you will own the execution of engagement, learning, performance and communication programmes, acting as the engine behind P&C delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end planning, tracking and closure of cross‑functional people programs such as engagement, L&D, HRBP and internal communications.
- Build and maintain program roadmaps, timelines and governance frameworks; prepare monthly and quarterly review decks for leadership.
- Track and analyse people metrics (attrition, performance, engagement) and translate raw data into actionable insights and visual dashboards.
- Manage pulse‑survey design, distribution, data collation and insight sharing.
- Serve as central coordination point across HR business partners, centres of expertise and business leaders, flagging risks and driving alignment.
- Lead internal communications for people programmes, ensuring clear rollout plans and updates.
- Address ad‑hoc priorities, create processes and templates where gaps exist.
Required profile
- MBA or PGDM (HR, Strategy or General Management) from a Tier‑1 or Tier‑2 institute; engineering background acceptable.
- 2‑3 years of experience in consulting, HR, strategy or program management.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to convert data into insights.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
